Wow!

This morning was a glorious warm sunny spring day. We had our first bike ride of the year and it was also my first bike ride since my hip operations. It was just a lovely relaxed one hour ride with lots of chatting, nothing strenuous… and it was a joy. The sky was blue, with little fluffy white clouds and the lanes were lined with blossoming prunus. We cycled in short sleeves, sunglasses and big smiles… (well, also trousers and helmets, before any of you start thinking we’re exhibitionists!)
