Gravestone, St Mary & All Saints Church, Boxley

Lately me and my brother have been trying different pubs near where we live for a drink. Today we tried the King's Arms at Boxley. We have been there before but not for a number of years so we thought we should give it another go. It has a huge garden at the back but unfortunately it was closed for the winter so we sat inside.
The pub dates back quite a few centuries so it's very atmospheric with beams throughout and is stylishly set out for dining. We always think a good sign is when you get greeted warmly as soon as you come in (which we were) and when you place your drink or food order they utter the phrase "of course you can" (they did). It looked as if it was going to be busy as quite a few of the tables had already been reserved.
A rather unique thing we saw was that just inside the door was a wall mounted box containing plastic bags that fitted over your shoes! The pub sits right next to the North Downs so I presume they get quite a few walkers with muddy boots stopping for a drink and/or a meal so it does seem like a good idea to prevent their floor getting dirty very quickly.
We really enjoyed our drink and the atmosphere and friendly vibe so we will definitely go back again to try the food.
Opposite the pub was the very striking St.Mary & All Saints church and it was there that I took today's shot of this very ornate gravestone in the churchyard.
