Plan B.

I found that which I thought I'd lost; namely part of the learning curve.  We had, as kids, a plant in the house, probably a Rhipsalis - BUT -  like none of "today's" it had, to our young eyes, HUGE trumpet-like flowers.               While wandering around one of our customary garden centres I spotted a "thing" labelled Rhipsalis, not one flower in sight; a short wander on and I saw two others BOTH different from #1 and from each other.  The left one appeared to have one red bud and to more closely resemble the one I remember.  The right one different format and flowerless.
The wee inset is Rhipsalis Mk l, seen first.
