Now, as I see it......

Hercules

The first day of running on the railway this year and this was the first steam train of the day, running from Sheringham to Holt and seen here at Windpump Crossing.  It's a guest engine visiting from South Devon; 'Hercules', No 4277 originally built for the Great Western Railway in 1920.  I walked up with blipper Bom and we were just in time to see the train I've put in the extra; M56182, a recently restored railcar which has been nominated for a Heritage Railway award for the restoration which took around ten years to complete.

Trains will be running all during the half term week so you may well see this one again!
