Gloucester Folk Trail (And Bee)

We've spent the day watching Morris dancers in Gloucester. Each time we go to an event like this there are fewer and fewer people that we knew from mrsfb's clog dancing days with Nancy Butterfly and Women On The Wold. Just three old friends were spotted today.

After lunch at Ye Olde Fish & Chip Shoppe (since 1940 so not that old) we searched out the anti-violence bee sculpture outside the cathedral.

It was made by the British Iron Work Centre, who also created the Knife Angel which we saw in Gloucester last year. It is made from thousands of knives and firearms collected by amnesty banks in Manchester, and is inspired by the city's worker bee symbol.

It's impressively done, I've added an extra.
