After a slow start Jo and I went to the V&A hoping to get into the Coco Chanel Exhibition but the queues were too long so we had a little look around before heading off to the Courtauld Gallery instead.  The V&A is a truly magnificent building and the exhibits are displayed so impressively.  I can understand why you would want to go again and again and why Jo is now a member.

The Courtauld is much smaller but with some really famous pieces by Cezanne, Van Gough, Gauguin and Renoir.  We saw the impressionists gallery and a small exhibition with work by the Bloomsbury Group before heading to a cafe for lunch.

Home in time for.....Saturday night in front of the telly with Martin, and a quiet day tomorrow.

Lucky me!
