Bits and Bobs!

4.20am

RUH, Bath

Dad had a fall at 12.30am, called District Nurse to dress wounds. While waiting he developed TIA symptoms, called 999. DN arrived 3am and treated arm. Ambulance arrived 3.20am and then took us to hospital, arriving 4.20am. Were moved from ambulance to Pitstop, back to ambulance, to holding bay, to ER, to Rotary Observation Unit, to Discharge Hub, to ambulance, to home at 2.20pm. Diagnosis: TIA or seizure.

Arriving home, then had to wash blooded bedding and towels, unblock the toilet and call the District Nurse out again to redress Dad’s wounds as the dressing the hospital nurse had applied had fallen off.

Only got two hours sleep last night. Am praying for an undisturbed night and tomorrow a much quieter day!

Thank you for your kind comments and stars for yesterday’s crescents collage. How can two days be so different?!
