Access!

Spotted on my run this morning - it definitely wasn't there at the beginning of the week - a brand new footbridge & gates. It's over a year, maybe two, since a notice appeared at this spot stating that it had been established that there should be a footpath there to provide the missing link between another footpath (which was on the definitive map) and the road. The footpath duly appeared on the OS map - but, to access the path one would have to cross both the ditch and the barbed wire fence. It did look as if some people had tried, but that's not our thing. Anyway, now we can do it legally - we'll have to try, once things dry up a bit, & before they put cattle back into the field!
