Postcards from Tenerife #3

A quieter paced day as the searing heat (24°C) took its toll.  24°C may not be searing to some but when you’ve spent the past few months at an average daily temperature of 5°C it really is :-)

A colourful sunset ended our day and is my main photo.  More colours of Tenerife are on show in the extras including Mrs CBL’s Champagne Sangria!  When the barman asked if she wanted a champagne or red wine sangria, without a moment’s hesitation, she ordered the champagne version.  Then he looked at me and said, “A beer for you, sir?”.  That was me put in my place!

We may not quite have had the ‘sublime’ experience of yesterday but it was another very enjoyable day in Tenerife.
