Derelict Maywick

A fine morning, some sunny spells.  It clouded over in the afternoon, and rain this evening.  Winds fairly picked up, and cold. 

Slept a tad longer than usual, but finally got going.  A morning of house chores, and walkies with Sammy.  Picked up friend Julie in the afternoon, we headed to Maywick beach, sadly too much dog poop around, so we headed to St Ninians for a walk.  Popped by Laura's on our way home, mam and Jonny were in too.  Working in the shop this evening, and a really busy night.  The galley shed next door were having a party.  Stayed dry for an bedtime walkies for Sammy.  Feet up now.

Always lovely to head to Maywick for a walk and look around.  Mam's old home is no really is a sorry way.  The roof almost completely fallen in, and the west lum looks like it's about to collapse.  A well photographed house in our family, we must have enough photos to stitch together and see the deterioration over the years.  Mam was born inside the house here, Maywick.
