Must try harder......

...to capture these in flight.

My first of 3 days off today and, seeing that it is forecast to rain tomorrow, I headed out into the garden to catch up on some jobs I had been putting off. As I worked away I couldn't help but notice the activity around the flower beds and in particular the number of bees. It must be a good year for them. So, with an hour to spare I decided to set myself a challenge.....capture one in flight.

I failed. In total, 52 images taken and this is the only one near to being in focus and sharp A bees bottom!

So a plea. Can anyone on here give me some advise on technique or settings to improve my success rate?
