New beginnings

A lot of rain last night and this morning, with some drizzle later

Spoke to my friend later this morning as she had a visitor.  Did some laundry and housework.  Went for a shorter walk than usual, not much litter to pick up and took quite a few photos.  Came home, quick bite to eat, shower and hair wash then out to a 90th birthday tea at the community centre.  Lovely time, food, friends, speeches from the birthday girl and her son.  She still does gardening for other people and is a councillor!
