Over the fence

This morning I took myself up to town to buy some new work clothes, and some small indulgences. Mission accomplished, I then walked home in the warmish Spring sun, taking in a few detours. This is the new room at the back of Broughton St Mary's Church on Bellevue Crescent.

The afternoon was mostly spent outdoors in the sun, cutting back the roses and some of the dead stems from last year. It was so warm that I worked away without coat, hat or gloves. Which was a slight mistake as the roses got me a couple of times.
