The train now arriving at platform one

… was the 14:52 to Newcastle.

Gave Gail and Peter a lift to the station and saw them onto the train for the first leg of their journey home.

Because the train had arrived early, I was home by the time it passed our house.

Sadly - but perhaps not surprisingly - they didn’t see me waving.

A lovely visit.
