Blue Tongue

I went back to Mullumbimby today, a small town about 1/2 hour drive north of here. It's known as Mullum to the locals, and Mullumgrad to the followers of Mullum-based fake genuine Russian choir The Dusty Eskys.

My reason for a second visit in a week was to pick up a new computer - for some unknown reason this small town houses the only AppleMac dealer in the region. I've decided, after managing for a few years with a notebook computer with 13 inch screen, that it is time to upgrade to an iMac with 24 Inch display. Now it's just the small matter of set-up and familiarisation!

In the Mullum Arboretum I photographed Melastoma affine or Blue Tongue, a local plant which grows from India through SE Asia to northern and eastern Australia.
