The enormous crocodile with a ‘tight’ smile

Sally had to get her pre op bloods repeated in Llandough hospital. After mission accomplished, we drove to Penarth Marina and walked along the Barrage. In the middle is “The Enormous Crocodile” celebrating Roald Dahl who was born in Cardiff. It brought back fond memories of the many hours I spent reading all the Dahl stories to the kids. As his smile and teeth are so ‘tight’ I thought this a suitable blip for this week’s Mono Monday challenge. Thank you Laurie for hosting
Later we picked up our 3-yr-old grandson Dylan from pre-school and took him home. After tea, he asked me to read him a story and fished out from the bookshelf a more contemporary story “The crocodile under the bed”, illustrating the enduring fascination of young children with crocodiles.
