A mixed posy

Last week I bought some pink pinks and deeper pink alstroemeria. Two of the latter stems, folded themselves in half, so I shortened them and put them in a smaller vase. Soon after, these tete-a-tete daffs appeared in the garden. They're blooming under the foundations of the shed, among brambles, and are barely visible, and can't be seen at all from the house. So I added some buds to my small vase, which quickly opened. Also cut some for our daughter to enjoy.  My mother would have loved this posy as yellow and pink was her favourite colour combination.

Enjoying today's sunshine, as I think the weather is set to deteriorate tomorrow.
