An old beech tree reaching out

Yesterday I had an eye test and was told that I was ok to drive without glasses which came as a pleasant surprise. (All because I could read the letters on the third line down.) I’m getting new glasses anyway which should make things even clearer. Yellow dog took my news with caution.
“Are you sure you are allowed to do this?”
“You nearly hit the kerb there.” You’d think he’d be happy for me.
