View from our bedroom …

We are fortunate to have a bedroom at the back of the apartment which looks out over a garden. It is always quiet. Over the years the trees and bushes in the garden have grown significantly and we frequently see a few birds there.
Most recently we’ve discovered rose-ringed parakeets there. They are large green birds with red bills and a red stripe along their necks. There are usually a pair of them, although we have seen as many as 5 at once. Unfortunately, we don’t have a long lens to get a shot.
