I've just had another MRI.
I was fascinated to know that this statue at my local university has its origins in that area! The statue is in front of the McClay Library I and is called Eco and was created by the Breton artist Marc Didou. It is made of bronze and is 2.5m tall. The piece is made in response to the artist's investigation of  digital imaging techniques and represents the reflection of a head refracted in water and the sonic echo used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Now you know!
