Going ......

 ............. going ........... but not quite gone!!

The so-called  "dwarf conifer" we planted about 20+ years ago had grown to about 12 feet (4 mtrs), had got very "fat" and was starting to impede the pavement so down/out it has to come.    Nathan the Gardener spent a happy (??) few hours to get this far.   Still more to do obviously.  Cut down to the ground and, either, stump right down or stump out!

It has also given a better sight line when pulling out of the drive, which is no bad thing.

The inset is a photo taken from the other side of the road a couple of years ago - I forgot to take a before picture - duh!
