tempus fugit

Stirring

While the rain hammers down and water pools on the ground, growth in the greenhouse continues. On the left, the broad bean shoots indicate that below the surface their roots are already stretching beyond their paper pots.
On the right the fungal spawn we sandwiched between layers of straw and coffee grounds on the mushroom growing course less that three weeks ago has produced a thick mesh of mycelium that's feeding on the organic material.

Whatever else happens, in life, in the world, in the future, these signs are good; there is hope here.
