Change is the only constant

I was in Edinburgh today for a meeting in St Andrew's House - the first time I have been in Edinburgh since last  August and the the first time in SAH (where I worked on and off for more than a decade) in over two years.

I walked through the new St James Centre which is now finished and came out at the Picardy Place entrance, to be met by this blue sky, which was a contrast with the heavy rain I left behind in Argyll (and in Glasgow where I changed trains) and by a stunning view which included the Forth , always a favourite of mine wherever it can be seen from this remarkable city I still think of as my second home. 

In cities, in weather and in life - change is the only constant !
