Fife Yacht ... in home waters

A Fife yacht in full flight off Cumbrae prepares for the start of The Fife Regatta at Largs on 28th June 2013.

William Fife, III OBE (1857-1944) began building yachts in a yard on the shingle shore at the village of Fairlie in 1890 soon surpassing the achievements of his father and grandfather. Fife was a master of his trade who received commissions from European royalty and adopted a stylised Chinese dragon as his trademark.

The Fife yachts gathering a Largs from Europe and the USA are in immaculate condition and a great credit to their owners.

The Fife yachts combine elegance with performance and a take us back to a long lost era.
