Praecox

All of a sudden this rhododendron has come into bloom freshening up the garden.

The crisp bright sun this morning after the rain helped.

Praecox means early flowering so I thought I’d go back through some of my previous years’ photos to see when I might have posted a picture of the plant in bloom.

I had to go back to 2017 before I found one - a week earlier than this year. Prior to that the picture of it in bloom was in 2015 - in mid-March! So early flowering times vary.

Otherwise a day of yet more paperwork with the end of the current bundle in sight.

Caught up with Breathtaking on TV. It brought back many feelings and also highlighted the challenges faced just 3-4 years ago. Powerful TV.
