Today’s walk was cancelled due to the heat - 35C at midday, 38C predicted for 3 pm - so instead we met for lunch at a Vietnamese on King St. On the way home I kept an eye out for rundown terraces with lace curtains in the front window, but they were in short supply. No wonder people go to Ireland for these things.
