The Title sums it up really.

Cranes in Christchurch are a dime a dozen but ones this size are not that common.

I remember a few years back when I was a truck driver, a transformer was being delivered to Islington substation and couldn't be off-loaded in Lyttelton so they did it at Timaru and then transported it up which took 2 days. I did count the wheels on the trailer and from memory it had 126 or thereabouts.
It had a prime mover at both ends and each day they did the rounds and replaced the flat tires.

It was around 150 tons or so from memory as well.
