School Road Obsolete

Frost first thing.  A beautiful sunny day, calm to a gentle breeze.  A couple of showers this evening, but mostly clear skies.

Up early, headed out walkies after breakfast.  Popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Headed down the road, stopping off for another walk.  Briefly saw mam and Elise, and then headed to see Laura, of course, another cuppa.  Last late shift of the week.  A busy day in the airport, mostly meeting and boarding flights.  All flights on time or early, and sunshine, the passengers were super happy.  I spent most of the afternoon with a sleeveless shift on the ramp.  Walkies and then might meet friends for a pint later.

A lovely morning, I took another opportunity to get out for a walk.  As I came up an old track road, it took me towards the old Quarff school.  When we were in primary school, we spent time with the Quarff bairns at swimming classes etc, being our neighbouring village.  It was never a big school, maybe a dozen bairns when I was young, but sadly it closed a number of years ago.  The sign remains in good nick, maybe it'll open again in the neat future? Taken along the Wester Quarff Road, Quarff.
