Rotterdam is putting its best foot forward again

You see here one of the two giant feet of 7½ meters height and 2000 kilos weight that are positioned on the market square of Rotterdam ~ the spot from where this city originates when in 1270 a dam was built in the riverlet Rotte (hence the city's name Rotterdam).

And the people of Rotterdam always give their views on whatever... like onto these two giant feet... "Those feet need supports" / "Oh, it's smelling sweaty here" / "Socks for the faint" / "Our city goes on Big Feet" and "Nou hebben we ook een Lange Poten" (a bit of competition between Den Haag and Rotterdam)
