A Splashy Ride

We got out this morning before the hail and cycled mostly in sunshine. There were however a few very big puddles! Peter took this photo of me.

I am pleased with progress because even though I felt very ‘meh’ first thing and a bit emotional (hormones playing up again), we cycled further and with more ascent and yet still faster than last week. And I definitely felt better afterwards. Love being outside.

This evening we met Peter’s brother and sister -in-law for dinner at a north London pub. Freya, one of David and Peter’s cousins also joined us. She’s a cousin but a generation younger so Lauren’s age. She’s a concert violinist so constantly travelling - not an easy life.
