Just Checking……

There is a rabbit warren right here. Maisie is checking for any fresh rabbity scents. Then she will try to squeeze down the rabbit hole. We had a bit of excitement at this same site last weekend. There was a big, very fluffy, very pretty tabby and white cat sitting next to a rabbit hole. A huge distraction for Maisie. The cat, which looked far too well fed to be a feral, took off with Maisie in hot pursuit. The environment is very very dry where we walked this morning. The rain radar looks a little optimistic this evening. I await some rain but I’m not going to hold my breath.
