Revivals

This morning I cycled to a podiatry  appointment via the path over the Royal Winchester Golf Club's  course. It's a long time since I've been that way, and it was good to enjoy the views once again. 

This evening  we went to the  (refreshingly traditional )  Phoenix pub in Twyford near Winchester to play skittles with twenty of our neighbours. Again, it's something we've not done for a very long time, and it proved a most convivial, relaxed event. We all agreed our Close of thirty three houses needs to revive the regular social events we used to  enjoy together pre 2020.
