Lantern Festival

The Google doodle informed me that today is Lantern Festival marking the end of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. I bought the flowery lantern when I was in Taiwan and Uncle N brought me the one hanging up. He said it is a lucky pineapple! I think during the festival lanterns are sent up into the air, but I think I'll hang in to these!
