My Best Efforts - Year 3

By AMC

Lysimachia punctata........

...........or better known as Garden Loosetrife which I planted as a fill-in under some shrubs just inside the garden wall some 10 years ago. It's in an area that is quite difficult for me to get at so is ideal and is easy to get rid of if it goes where it shouldn't! It is a very bright and sunny flower and I know some folk think it rather coarse but I happen to love it. It is quite a rampant spreader but is very easy to control and keep in order. On a rather dull morning like today it just shines out.

Am pleased to report that Anni has finally reached her first destination (Chicago) after flight cancellations and delays yesterday due to severe weather there. They have had torrential rain and thunder storms and streets are flooded - anyway, she had a lovely evening with LoveMy3Dogs and sounded very happy! So all is well!

The day started bright and sunny but has now become somewhat cloudier with temperature at around the 60 deg.F. mark.

Lower case "L" if you wish to enlarge

Have a very good day.
