Ladybird

Another frosty morning, but no mist or fog as was forecast! While I was out I spotted this ladybird nestled into the join between a fence post and rail..the wing covers have small droplets on them - presumably from the frost melting in the sunshine!!

There is a nice assortment of moss and lichen around it. I was quite close in with the camera and it was casting a bit of shadow on the subject - so I used the ‘torch’ on my phone to shine in some light from above!!!
