Shady Character

It was raining after Mass in Bridport this morning so I resorted to indoor subjects for Blipping.  And this hat model in Snook's window would have to do.

As I write this I'm listening to "Three Million" on BBC Radio 4: episode 1 of the story of the artificial famine caused by the British in Bengal during the Second World War.  Three million died.  Not an edifying story of British heroism . . .

I started listening because I used to live in Calcutta, and Mrs B called my attention to the programme because of that.  Then the sadness came out.
