Millennium Walkway

The amazing feat of design and engineering that is the Millennium Walkway in New Mills, Derbyshire. The path clings to the towering gritstone wall which itself is a feat of engineering of a bygone age, the retaining wall of the Midland Railway's line to Manchester. This is the gorge of the River Goyt whose waters were used to power many mills along its length.
Great experience.
