Dabblers

Despite the cold temperature the sunshine pulled us outdoors down to the Cobbosseeconte Stream. A pair of mallard ducks paddled vigorously to keep from being swept downstream by the swift current. The drake and duck dabbled around the larger stones, then moved their open beaks through the moving water catching yummy things to eat. They were still at it when we left • No eagles spotted on our trip but the birds and squirrels have been busy at the feeders. They must have heard about the little storm moving through tonight and tomorrow • A lovely quiet Sunday so far. Hope you’re enjoying yours too! • Peace & Love
