Willow

Since we've lived in Diglis a lovely weeping willow tree has grown on the canal bankside .  The other day we heard chainsaws and on investigation found that the willow has been severely cropped.  There will not be a pleasing tree for quite a while now.  I consider this a man-made Dereliction.  I've added a photo to the extras I took sometime back of the tree in full leaf.
