Spring pruning

A pair of photos today. For the Derelict Sunday challenge, the off cuts from the cherry left by the local gardening group. I spotted the pile the night before as the blossom glowed in the street half-light. 

The second photo is the vase of blossom I took home, as they were too beautiful to leave to wither. We will probably only have the joy of them for a few days, but worth it.
