It's that time again.... Bling time!

Here we have a nice, big, sparkly marquise cut diamond solitaire. It belongs to the elderly aunt of one of my customers, and has been missing for almost two years. The lady who owns the ring took it off one day as it was becoming too tight and decided to put it somewhere safe. Her memory is fading with age and she forgot where she'd put it. The whole family spent a long time looking for it, but then gave up as it seemed to be lost forever.

She has now gone into an old folks' home, so the family were clearing out her bedroom to see what she wanted to take with her. They opened a drawer under her bed that they thought just had bed linen in it and there was the ring! Needless to say, she is now one extremely happy lady who is having the ring made a little bit bigger so it will be safe on her finger!

So all's well that ends well!
