Kitchen window ledge

Bright sun but bitterly cold wind.  Kitchen window ledge from left to right. Daffodils from the garden.  Each day I pick the ones that have been blown flat by the wind or nibbled by slugs and put them in the glass vase. A solitary small daffodil in a pot that was full of flowers last Spring but somehow got forgotten when we planted the rest out in the garden.  A kalanchoes that we have had for many years.  It refuses to die and grows rather leggy, putting out small flowers quite unlike the showy plants for sale in the shops.  This morning's tulips which will be yellow when they open.
