Black Limes

Like most people who cook regularly  I am always interested in uncommon ingredients and different spices and flavours.

On Saturday I was (at last) tidying up the spice drawers and came across these in a container.   For the life of me I couldn't remember what they were, but I did remember buying them.

After a search of my past emails today , I discovered that in August 2022 I had ordered a few things to try out, including these which are.....

.....dried black limes, which I shall now use again tonight for something !
