It's Hotter in Flotta

Panic stations today as the MOT was about to lapse.  I didn't even have time for my usual two pints of prune juice but zipped straight through to Kirkwall.  We were gallus and even had the temerity to go to dancing whilst the vehicle was being examined.  A highly, but not overly, syncopated 'Gang the Same Gate' was delivered partnering Bunty (La Doyenne). In the middle of 'Brisk Young Lad' Davy informed me and Colin that he wears a marigold  in bed.  Colin had the audacity to ask him exactly where he wears it.  Despite the laughter, Davy replied '34B Palace Road.'

After a café snack ( l eschewed the proffered Snibbo) l went along to Orkney Factors and treated myself to some Ad Blu.

By 13.00hrs, and back at HQ, the polycrub had got as far as it can go, in an ideal spell of weather.  So the pressure was building; Mother Nature told me it was time to visit the bolt hole to convalese and let things in  the Parish settle doon.  Those of a nervous disposition should avoid the extra of project 2 - the Bolt Hole ben end.

On board the MV Hoy Head Richard asked if we wanted a ticket for Murmansk.  Calum was on engineering duties today.

What do you get if you cross Scapa Flow with two bottles of whisky?

Rory Whyte is 29.
