Cancelled

Colin had to cancel the planned morning for Donald to join him in the workshops so we sat in his flat with the sun streaming in through the window and waited for two workmen who were coming to measure up for a whole new shower unit for Donald. They said it would be a few weeks before this work could be done and it would be a days work but because he's never been able to use the shower since he moved in at the beginning of January another wait doesn't matter it will just be so nice for him to have his own shower.
Donald had come down to my flat but had to go back to his to get a book down, then came the comedy sketch -- he went to the corridor to get the lift but Robert another resident appeared and thought he was lost, again!!!, and so he said and pointed, 'that's Ruths flat there' and wouldn't let him get by. When Donald appeared back in the room I said that that had been quick and then he told me of Robert and went and peeked out of the door again, there was Robert still on sentry duty. So nice that they look out for him but we did laugh.
