Daeargryn a menter

Daeargryn a menter ~ Earthquake and enterprise

“... the most grandiose result of the photographic enterprise is to give us the sense that we can hold the whole world in our heads - as an anthology of images.”
― Susan Sontag, (‘On Photography’)

Dyma gasgliad o greigiau a cherrig. Ar y pen yw tri darn o sment addurnedig o wal o deml yn Nepal. Ar ôl y daeargryn ym 2015 gwnaeth ffrindiau yn ymweld Nepal. Treulion nhw amser i helpu pobol (cyn belled ag y bo modd) a gwnaethon nhw brynu’r darnau o wal y deml i roi arian i’r bobl leol. Mae'n ein hatgoffa o'r sioc a thrychineb a hefyd o garedigrwydd a menter.

This is a collection of rocks and stones. On top are three pieces of decorated cement from a wall from a temple in Nepal. After the earthquake in 2015 friends visited Nepal. They spent time helping people (as far as possible) and they bought the pieces of the temple wall to give money to the local people. It reminds us of the shock and disaster and also of kindness and initiative.
