Waterford Heath

After a lunchtime meeting, I walked the Waterford Heath loop alone, which is a rare thing and I enjoyed the opportunity to clear my head. Certainly the wind blew any cobwebs away, but it was also sunny and I was soon very warm. It was only 6km and I dropped my pace a little but that’s ok; not every walk needs to be a race. There were three main causes: strong wind, a phone call and a flooded gateway. It was really flooded; I had to creep along a wire fence edge and at one point climb up it!
