After the fire...

There was a fire at the marina last year. It burnt out one of the covered slip area completely along with all the boats. These burnt piles are all that is left above the water and the burnt boat hulls are resting on the bottom. This pair of mallards do not seem to mind the smell but it is still really strong. Something about this photo is just sad to me even though the reflection colors are appealing.
The extra is tiny crocus growing in my pond garden.  I thought would work for the theme Tiny Tuesday #TT457 'spring is in the air'. Thanks to ApolloFly for hosting.
