Coronet Peak

A day of amazing scenery. 

Left Arrowtown 11am, destination Te Anau, 80 miles southwest. Drove up to Coronet Peak - a ski area, but big biking country in the summer - for incredible views of Queenstown, Arrowtown and the Remarkables mountain range. 

The journey took us down the side of Lake Wakatipu, then across country arriving in Te Anau around 5pm. Pretty location on Lake Te Anau, very much a transit town, most visitors (like ourselves) en route to Milford Sound.
