There and back again

A victory wave* from Mr PP, returning from a round trip on foot along the road to the next village, a few yards under two miles in each direction. He had a cuppa and a one-hour rest at our daughter's in between hikes. There are several steep ups and downs along half the route, so it's all very impressive; definitely a challenge, just 30 days since his hip op. The kettle was boiling as he returned for drinking chocolate with buttered apple scones to recharge his batteries.

Mrs B told little Miss B of her grandfather's feat on her coming home from school, and she sent a video-message saying "Well done..." and "Good boy!" Sooo lovely!

Took the photo through the kitchen window and have treated it with a 'dry brush' art filter to disguise the blur.
